Karim,

You can use the interface range command so that multiple ports take the one
command that you set. I don't know if this is what you used to change the
native vlan on all the ports, but this is how I've done it.

Ex:
switch#conf t
switch(config)#interface range fa 0/0 - 24
switch(config)#switchport access vlan 10

The above command will put all 24 ports on vlan 10

As for the management, if you have a 3550 with EMI IOS (layer 3 swith) and
you are running an IGP, then you can use any interface to manage the switch,
as long as it is reachable by the rest of the network.

If you use a 3550 with SMI IOS (layer 2 switch), then just like the 2950 or
the older 2924, you can have multiple vlan interfaces with IP addresses, but
only one can be active at a time and you would have to configure a default
gateway which should point to the router on the same subnet as the interface
that is up/up at the time.
