Thomas makes a good point..At Cisco we pay the local standard pay wage
for the area that we work in..The only exception is if I were to move from SJ
to Dallas/RTP, I would keep my SJ wage and be living in a less costly area..Several
of my peers have done that for less costly houses...As far as the CCIE bringing money,
we dont get that much more for having a CCIE than those of us that have CCNP certs..
Thats a prime reason why, after 2 tries, I can find something better to do with my time..
