Hi,

With The ip rtp priority command it only uses udp ports 16384 -->32767 for
strict queueing thats it end of story.

As apposed to policy where you can get much more granular on what type of
traffic goes into the priority queue.
In the policy example you have used you are only placing udp traffic in the
port range specified 16384 -->32767 into the Priority queue by matching
the same ports as ip rtp priority uses.

Note you can use both features together but Ip rtp priorty takes precedence.

Ip rtp priority was generally used before the Modular QoS command line
interface came to fruition .
These days LLQ is the done thing because you can be more specific and not
just open up these ports.
