SDI trace is a component of the CCM trace. SDI manages device-level
tracing while SDL manages database level tracing.
If call routing and digit analysis is needed, SDI trace should be
configured. However, it also depends on which signaling protocol you
have chosen on your network. If you are using MGCP gateways, then you
are on the right track. If your gateways are H.323, call routing needs
to be looked at on the gateway with IOS debug commands.

Subject: Voice Call Routing Troubleshooting - any help appreciated
Sorry, I'm not sure if this is off-topic since I can't find any Voice
list to post this onto.
I would be greatly appreciated if someone can shed some light on this
:o)
If I want to troubleshoot Call Routing and Digit Analysis problems,
should I use SDI trace or CCM trace? Are they the same or different?
For those gurus who knows what it is, instead of just saying which one I
should use, some explanations would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Lee
