3750 uses a separate dedicated interface to create the stack ...
Doesn't use the gig/fastE ports like 2900/3500/3550 do.
A stack of them look like a single switch ... one management IP etc.

Like a Nortel Baystack...

Makes managing a bunch of them a LOT easier.... Just one IP per
stack... instead of 1 per unit with the 2950/3550.
