Does 3750 support ipv6 multicas? I purchased one based on Cisco's marketing info, then found out it won't support v6 multicast until next major release which is sometime this year. Do you have any inside info about the timing?

There are actually 2 types of 3750 - regular 3750 and metro 3570m.
The 3750m has VPLS(licence based) and enhanced QoS on the two uplink
ports, 3750 is quitte similar to 3550, both have Redundant AC,
redundant DC or mixed AC/DC supported. Cisco has 3 licence for it :

IP Base License - static/RIP
IP Services License - OSPF etc
Advanced IP Feature License MPLS, EoMPLS, MPLS VPN, and BGP

Very good switch !
