Removing ports from default vlan

        Hello,

        What is the best way to remove all ports not in use on a 3550 switch
from the default vlan.

        I could shutdown the ports not in use, thus removing then from the
default vlan. or I could you no switch-port or put them in another vlan.

        Which is the best solution.,.??
