See below for a sample config of the switch that is the VMPS server switch. On a VMPS client switch, you would just configure the IP address of the VMPS server switch. 10.100.20.69 is the TFTP server.

set interface sc0 100 10.100.20.20/255.255.255.0 10.100.20.255
!
#vmps
set vmps server 10.100.20.20 primary
set vmps downloadserver 10.100.20.69 vmps-config-database.1
set vmps state enable
