Looking at your subsequent posts, I see that you had a more specific
problem in mind. I apologize if I was lecturing or being too
overbearing.
However, in the future, you would save us all a lot of trouble if you
would please post your configurations, your terminal output and give a
more detailed description of what kind of problem you are understanding.
Since I don't have the patience of an instructor, I just get frustrated
when list members need to post 4 or 5 questions to pry out what the
original poster meant.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Subject: RE: default-information - EIGRP command
William,
Please read be sure to check the Doc CD before making a request for
information. A question about some undocumented aspect of a command or
some unusual use or error message is a good use of this mailing list.
Asking very simple questions with obvious answers about commands easily
found on the Doc CD is not.
If you don't know where the Configuration Guides and Command References
are on the Doc CD
1. Go to the following URL: www.cisco.com
2. Under "Useful Links" on the right side of the web page, click
"Technical Documentation"
3. From the "Cisco IOS" drop down list select "Release 12.2"
4. Next, click "Cisco IOS Release 12.2 Configuration Guides and Command
References"
5. EIGRP information can be found under these two links:
IPC: Cisco IOS IP Configuration Guide, Release 12.2
IP2R: Cisco IOS IP Command Reference, Volume 2 of 3: Routing Protocols,
Release 12.2
HTH,
Jonathan
