I'm not sure if it's "standard" or not, but I've always thought of them
as:
ST = Stick 'n' Twist (circular ones)
SC = Square Connector

Subject: OT: ST & SC Fiber Connections
I'm having a debate with a colleague of mine - does anyone know what the
terms "ST" and "SC" stand for when referring to Fiber Optic connections?
Thanks,
