there is one difference i can tell you about.
PaGP is Cisco proprietry (AFAIK) but LACP is the IEEE standard 802.3ad

this matters when it comes to multi-vendor environment.
For example SunBlade B1600 Servers with built in switch support LACP.

Subject: Questuion about PaGP and LACP when configering etherchannel on
a Cat 3550

Can anybody tell me what is the difference between PaGP and LACP when
configering etherchannel on a Cat 3550.

All I know is that PaGP uses "auto and desireble" and that LACP uses
"passive
and active"

But what is in the end the differences between those two?

Thanks
