RE: Any difference between dialer watch-disable and dialer

  Hello.

 I don't think that 'dialer watch-list <group-number>delay disconnect
<disconnect-time>'
do the exact same thing as the 'watch-disable'.
The Dialer Watch Connect Delay feature introduces the ability to
configure a delay in bringing up a secondary link when a primary link
that is monitored by Dialer Watch goes down and is removed from the
routing table.
Watch-disable set a delay time to the move down backup interface.

So these delays are different. The first delay is between primary goes
down and secondary goes up and the second delay is between primary goes
up and secondary goes down.

watch-list group-number delay disconnect disconnect-time?

The 'dialer watch-list <group-number>delay disconnect <disconnect-time>'

appears to do the exact same thing as the 'watch-disable'. They both
wait
for X amount of seconds after the primary route comes back to disconnect
the
BRI. The 'dialer watch-list <group-number>delay disconnect
<disconnect-time>' is the newer of the two being introduced in 12.2(8)T.
I
would say that since this is a 12.2 test now, if this came up in the lab
I
would use the newer version.
