if you are using a term server, then on each router or end device you need
to change the terminal escape character. under priviliged exec mode
(router#)terminal escape-character xxx (xxx can be the character, the ascii
equivalent, none, default and some others). It makes things more complex
because you now have 2 escape sequences, but since you'll be doing most of
the work on the routers and not the terminal server, you'll be using the new
sequence all the time and the default very little.

Subject: Stop the traceroute in console connected by a terminal server

Hi group,

Can any body suggest me a method to stop the trace route in console, whihc
is connected to the terminal server? Ctrl+Shift+6 and X seems doesn't work
as it just escape from the Console.

Thx,
