Hi Tomasz,

1-)You have to map dlsw for direct encapsulation.

Dlsw remote-peer 0 frame-relay interface serial1 pass-thru
Frame-relay map dlsw ....

2-)For DLSW Lite Encapsulation
Map llc2

Dlsw remote-peer 0 frame-relay interface serial1
Frame-relay map llc2 ...

You can find out what to map in the first column of "sh dlsw peers" output.

Hope this helps.

Gokhan.

Subject: frame-relay map dlsw command?

Hi everyone!

Does someone know what is the purpose of this command?

I know that "frame-relay map llc2 <dlci> " is used for direct
encapsulation but I don't know purpose of the command in the subject.
Maybe someone does know when to use it?

TS
