How about removing all trunk configuration, and configure it as an access before converting it back to trunk ?

Hello, Group,
interface FastEthernet0/17
switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,56,70,100,1002-1005
switchport trunk pruning vlan 2-1001,1006-4094
switchport mode trunk
no ip address
end
I have the above configured on this switch interface. I can't get rid of the "switchport trunk pruning" line. Not sure why. I type no in front of it and continues to be in the config. I tried removing all references to "trunk" on the interface and it
remains.
Thanks,
Danny
