Hi All,

Need some help with CAR,

If in the question it specifies that the specified traffic should not exceed
1 MBPS.

What would be the vlaues of the normal burst and the excess burst-
I found this on Cisco, but doesnt help much.

""Recommended Burst Values
Cisco recommends the following values for the normal and extended burst
parameters:

normal burst = configured rate * (1 byte)/(8 bits) * 1.5 seconds
extended burst = 2 * normal burst ""

Could somebody please explain taking just 1mbps as a reffernce value.
