ISIS and OSPF redistrubution problem.

Hi.
I have a problem of ISIS and OSPF redistribution issue.
 ISIS and OSPF boundary router is "R1".
ISIS is only enabled on R1's serial0 interface and OSPF is enabled on ether0.
From other OSPF routers, all ISIS routes are redistributed on R1, except serial0 of R1 network address.
In ISIS redistribution behavoir, Do I need to configure also "redistrubute connected",
because in case of RIP or EIGRP, R1's serial0 network is redistributed to OSPF without
"redistributed connected" statement.
