Also, don't take the telco's word for it. Get a six dollar Rat Shack
caller-ID box and bridge it on the analog line with the voice port,
see if it's getting data. You could just listen with a buttinski for
the modem tone burst, but the caller-ID box will show you if the data
is good, not just if it's there.
Your config isn't answering the call on the first ring, is it? Analog
CLID is sent after the first ring cycle.
