After struggling to get the console stuff working (fixed by adding a
straight gender changer to the chain of cable) I'm now enjoying the
'wonders' of getting the DS3 cards on the LS100 to talk nicely to the ATM
cards on the 4500Ms I have.
Using both a Cisco AIP E3/DS3 BNC cable and broadcast BNC cables I get the
following responses to various cable plugging combos:
- LS100 DS3 card with looped cable reveals (GOOD) on show line
- ATM in 4500M with looped cable reveals down/down in show int atm 0.
Setting loopback line/payload/cell/diagnostic
- LS100 DS3 card shows (Loss of Frame) when wired through to ATM in 4500M,
and router still shows down/down
Doing a debug atm events/errors/states shows nothing helpful on the router.
Any ideas, I'm sure it most probably something config I've done/not done to
the LS100 which is base config no change from default.
