I think it is on the management vlan , and it is by default vlan 1 , if
you changed the management vlan form vlan 1 using management command
under vlan x it will be the ip address of interface vlan x,
Correct me if I am wrong

Subject: 3550 & management interface
Hi,
On the Cat 5k, to assign an ip addr to the switch as a whole for
terminal
access, you would do a set interface sc0 [vlan#] [ip addr].
To see what addr is assigned, you'd do a show interface.
What's the equivalent on a 3550?
Thanks, Jim
