change the baud rate on your terminal emulator to 115200 in order to access
the 2600 once more.
After, go under line con 0 and set the baud-rate back to 9600.

Subject: 2620 router problem, please help
Does anyone out there knows how to set the config-register for Cisco 2620?
I was doing an IOS upgrade for new flash so I change the baud rate to 115200
with
the confreg command in BootROM mode.
Now, my upgrade is done but the problem is I don't know how to set it back
to the
normal standard 9600.
I tried that confreg command (in BootROM) as well as using config-register
0x2102...
the router looks it boots up fine, but near the end of the bootup, it shows
up a
bunch of garbles... and I can't use the router ;-(
rommon 2 > confreg 0x2102
You must reset or power cycle for new config to take effect
rommon 3 > reset

And if I rebooted my router and go back to BootROM mode, the baud rate has
changed
itself back somehow to 115200..
Is there a command to clear the config-register value to its default?
Thanks in advance,
Best Regards,
Hunt
