Sunil,
You would not need nbma-mode on the point-to-point interface. You would
need it on the physical interface if you were using more than one DLCI on
the interface. The nbma-mode forces the interface to learn the IP address
of all neighbors so if one sends a prune, only that neighbor would be
pruned, not the entire interface.
So if your physical interface is connected via a DLCI to just the
point-to-point, and has no other neighbors, nbma-mode wouldn't be needed on
the physical either.
This rule would apply for auto-RP or static RP.
