Hi All,
Quick question for those who had tried the DLSW Ethernet Redundancy feature before.
Here's my setup:
PU5 (BoxA) Master DLSW router
\ / \
-- Cat 2924XL DLSW Peer ---- PU2 (SNA Host)
/ \ /
PU5 (BoxB) Slave DLSW router
And on Master DLSW router I created a local-mac of 1111.1111.1111, & on Slave router
created local-mac of 2222.2222.2222. BoxA had a rmac statement pointing to
1111.1111.1111, while BoxB is pointing to 2222.2222.2222.
All goes well until I took down the Master DLSW router... the Slave router just
doesn't seem to be able to pick up the transations from the Master DLSW router, it
keeps on saying "CKT_ESTABLISHED"...
RTB#sh dlsw circuits
Index local addr(lsap) remote addr(dsap) state uptime
2264924207 4000.6666.6666(04) 4000.aaaa.aaaa(04) CKT_ESTABLISHED -
3137339417 4000.eeee.eeee(04) 4000.aaaa.aaaa(04) CONNECTED 00:18:05
Total number of circuits connected: 1
RTB#
n.b:- RTB is the Slave DLSW router, while RTA is the primary.
- The 2nd circuit is fine, since BoxB is always pointing to 2222.2222.2222
If I get the Primary DLSW router back on-line, then it would be fine again. Hence,
there must be something wrong with my redundancy setup...
Anyway, here are the configs:-
