how about that we don't have any information of the esi address of
remote router?
is there any way to find out? or configuration needed on the remote
router/atm switch?

try show atm ilimi status
you will see the nsap address of the ATM switch then you are going to
need the esi address (of the router at the other end) given to you
because it is changed using atm esi-address so the other end can have
anything.
and don't forget

atm pvc 16 0 16 ilmi
