HI Janto,
This is bcoz of disticontiguous subnets. You can add secondary addresses that belong to network 150.50.0.0 on R7 and R8 interfaces (s0). Add the network in rip at R7. R8 is already running rip on 150.50.0.0.
Hope this helps..
any other thoughts..
regards

I tried second suggestion and still couldn't have the 150.50.0.0/16 in
R8 as long as I have lo0 (150.50.8.8/32) in R8.

distribute-list Con_out out connected
ip access stan Con_out

Dear All,
I've problem when doing mutual redistribution between RIP and OSPF.
R5(e0)------(e0)R7(s0)-------(s0)R8(e0)
R5 e0: 150.50.201.5/24
R7 e0: 150.50.201.7/24
R7 s0: 192.168.10.1/30
R8 s0: 192.168.10.2/30
R8 lo0: 150.50.8.8/32
R8 e0: 10.1.1.1/8
R5-R7 as OSPF area 0, R7-R8 as RIPv1 and mutual redistribution between
both protocols at R7.
I can see R8 lo0 in R5 routing table but why I can't see 150.50.201.0/24
in R8 routing table?
If I remove the lo0 at R8, I have route 150.50.0.0/16 in R8 routing
table.
How to achieve connectivity by not remove the lo0 at R8 and not use the
static/default route?
TIA.
Kind Regards,
Janto
