I will be very surprised if Cisco do not make up for
the expenses for those that travelled there to take
the exam. CISCO is equivalent to PROFESSIONALISM and
if they do not cover at least the travel expenses that
will be some blow to Cisco's image.
Redundancy is all that any network is about. Not
having redundant power supplies available is
unexcusable by the Network Giant. That is why you can
not blame nature for the lose. Not only cisco should
cover the travel expenses but also should give a
discount for next try if candidates that traveled
there fail the test this time.
As for the $1,250 fee to be labeled as 'little' I find
it not true. In order for me to pay that amount twice
I had to cut down other expenses that depleted my
family other necessary things (since I paid my own
expenses). The first try that I failed cause problems
within my family because it felt like I went to a
Casino a gambled and lost.
