thanks...ibrahim. for your concern.
then...i checked the MTU mismatches yesterday, but they have the same value which is 1500.
It's not that first possibility...on my case...
second possibility...OSPF router ID duplication...maybe.. possible....i think so..but..i can not used the loopback address each routers.and then my senior thinks it's also not possible....
i think this case is the cisco IOS bug .
This case ,the vlans used in each gigaport, respectively.
thanks...gurus.

There are few posibilities :
1. MTU size is mismatched. To verify it, try to use extended ping with
datagram size 1000 bytes.
2. Duplicate OSPF router ID. To fix it, create loopback interface and
put an IP addr on it and restart the OSPF process. The duplicate OSPF
router ID could be on any of the router so better you create a loopback
interface on every router and restart the OSPF process.

Subject: ospf problem??
hi, there
i got a problem on ospf load balance situation.
r1,r2, r3, r4 are placed as below:
r1 r3
r2 r4
r1 and r4 , r1 and r2, r3 and r4, and r3 and r2 are connected with Giga
ports. And each of r2 and r4 has another serial port that are connected
to frame relay clouds.
We are trying to use ospf for IP protocol, and I think there are
problems in DR, BDR elections.
All the Giga links are in full state except the link between r1 and r4
which is in exchage state. Could you tell me how to solve this problem?
P.S
Could it be problem if r1 is a Cisco product (7500) and r3 is a Nortel
product (BayStack)? Will it be different if r1 and r3 were both Cisco?
Thanks
