when I try to enable, it.says "no passwored set",

I didn't set enable password, when I try to enable, it.says "no passwored set",maybe because I had configured tunnel, how can I deal with this ?
Maybe I didn't make it clear, I log in from console,not telnet, I think this is because I configured tunnel ,right?
