I'm having a couple of issues with summarizing some class C subnets. I
was thinking that the matching bits needed to be in the same subnet
class. I think I have this worked out correctly but I need someone to
verify for me.
130.10.32.0 /28
130.10.32.16 /28
If I convert to binary I get:
10000010.00001010.00101010.00000000
10000010.00001010.00101010.00010000
To right most matching significant bits are:
10000010.00001010.00101010.00000000
10000010.00001010.00101010.00010000
So my summary route would be 130.10.32.0 255.255.254.0
Is this correct?
Example 2
130.10.42.0 /26
130.10.42.64 /26
