OT:What happened at Worldcom today?

This is just plain old curiousity - anyone in the group work with Worldcom? They had a major network outage today in the US, with their UUNET NOC. I heard the public versions of what happened, and wondered what the real story was. One story said it was something about a route table, another said that a software upload caused it. This is such an amazing group of people, so I figure that if anybody know the truth, it would be someone here!
