Group,

I am a bit confused with Integrated Routing and Bridging here.
I created a bridge group with "bridge X proto ieee" on the
router, enable IRB with "bridge irb",put interface fa0/0 in that group with
"bridge-group 1".
When I do "sh int fa0/0 irb", I can see ip is being both routed and
bridged on interface fa0/0.
My question is, do I need to config a BVI interface to route ip traffic
on fa0/0?
If I do, does that mean I have to take off the ip address on fa0/0 and
put it in BVI interface?
If I don't, how ip traffic incoming in fa0/0 being routed as I can
still see the network connects to fa0/0 shows up in my ospf routing domain?

Also can anyone help me to explain the following four commands a bit in
detail? What's the difference between them?

     bridge X route ip
     no bridge X route ip
    bridge X bridge ip
    no bridge X bridge ip

any input will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

Frank
