ok This ascII art takes a lot of work.....I am probably doing something
stupid or
something I forgot or this is normal ...

given
r9 and R0 and in same as and peer with as 45
r9 advertises 1.1.1.0/24
r0 advertises 2.2.2.2/24

in as 45 r3 is a route reflector

this is my problem
R5 ,R3 AND R1 seEs
1.1.1.0/24 and 2.2.2.0/24 in the bgp routing table both via TWO PATHS

HOWEVER R7 sees 1.1.1.0/24 and 2.2.2.0/24 only with one path from R1.
so i shut down R1 peering with R0 to see if BGP is working right and BAM

R7 now sees both routes coming from R3....

because of this effect i say bgp is working right ....this is driving me
MAD
a voice in my head is saying that is normal IBGP operation .
can someone bring my sanity back ....is that normal..I think it is

i hope the AscII art looks alright ..
