I met a scenario that I have to have one dialer interface (dialer1
172.20.11.1/24) to receive calls from multiple locations acting as a
hub. I use another dialer interface(dialer2 172.20.1.62/24) as a spoke
to dial out to another location. I had to use two dialer interfaces
since it's hard to troubleshoot when using secondary IP addresses.
I only have one PRI physical interface on that router and here's comes
the conflict:
1. If I choose to use dialer profiles on both dialer, I won't be able to
use the "dialer map" statement on dialer1 to specify the multiple
locations that will be calling. "dialer string" command doesn't seem to
be able to replace multiple "dialer map" commands.
2. If I choose to use Legacy DDR on both dialer, I won't be able to use
"dialer pool-member" so that I can associate the PRI with both dialers.
I tried "dialer rotary-group" command instead, but it doesn't allow me
to bind the PRI with two rotary-groups.
Therefore, I was wondering whether anyone has met a similar problem and
possibly can shed some light on this.
Thanks.
Richard
