Isdn spid1 and isdn spid2 cannot be replaced by dialer map. You have to
put specify them if your isdn switch requires them. For example basic-ni
requires spids but basic-5ess does not. Spids are identify the type of
service that you have subscribed to.

Subject: ISDN config in CIM
Hi,
I'm using Cisco Interactive Mentor.
I remember I saw "isdn spid1" is necessary under bri
interface for ISDN.
But in the ISDN configuration of CIM, there is no
"isdn
spid1" configration under bri0, they use dialer map
with dial number instead of it. So it means "isdn
spid1" is not necessary.
I'm wondering when I should ignore "isdn spid1" .
Thank you for help.
Best Regards,
Peng Zheng
