Hi Alex,
No. The first will allow port 2/6 to only accept traffic from MAC 00-00-00-0
0-00-01.
On the other hand, the second command will tell the switch that any traffic it
gets
destined for MAC 00-00-00-00-00-01 should go to port 2/6. However, with the sec
ond
command... any MAC connected to 2/6 can still send traffic through the switch a
nd have
it's own MAC added to the CAM entries for port 2/6 (If you had a hub connected,
for
example to port 2/6 you could have many MAC addresses associated with 2/6, but
only
00-00..01 would be permanent).
HTH,
Jake
