Impression on ISDN

Hi,
After studying on ISDN, I have an impression on isdn., which is 'isdn
dialer-threshold and ppp multilink shouldn't be configured together under
bri or dialer interface because they conceptually contradict each other.
The former is used to bring up the additional interface and the latter is
used to bond two separate link together.
I haven't' test those two in the lab, but it would look like stupid
configuration if you configure those together.

What is your thought?
