I used the CCIE Lab Study Guide right after I finished my CCNP and started
building my lab.
It helped with understanding the "basics" and prepared me for more
complicated labs.
I remember numerous errors that were a bit annoying (specifically that IPs
on interface diagrams did not match those being referenced by the author and
things of that nature) but I found it a helpful starting point, although
there are a lot more resources that have popped up over the last year or so.

e-mail was informative. About how much is the book. Has anyone here used
that book and taken the lab. Can anyone give some incite as to the
usefulness of it for the lab?

> Know what, I just noticed that Jason was asking about the Study guide, not
the Practice Guide. I have the practice guide, and that's the book I was
referring to. I've heard of the study guide, but never checked it out. Sorry
'bout that!
