Just a little something to add to this, Cisco has already stated that the
lab will be getting rid of token ring and adding more real world scenarios,
I confirmed this in an email to the program. They didn't say when, but I
would bet it will be very soon with the EOL of the 3920 and 5000/5500, who
knows what they will put on their next? IPV6, MPLS (maybe there now?), more
hardware (6500, 7200, 7500). Just a thought.

~Every CCIE lab test goes through a "life-cycle". A new test lowers
~the passing rate dramatically, over time the passing rate creeps up.
~I think one of the lessons to take from this, is that a major change
~in the test is probably due this year.
~Timing can be an important issue in passing.
