I have to start by saying that I only attended a couple hours worth of an 8
hour CCIE Power Session in San Jose recently, so I don't have much to add
here. If someone else on this list got more info, please add to this. I
don't even have the guy's name who spoke. However, he did say that they
would review the practical exam this May for changes. Someone tried to pin
him down on on the 3920, which he didn't come right out and admit to, but
suggested strongly that it would likely disappear in the future. Based on a
previous post, it sounds like Cisco might have already spoken on this
subject though. I hadn't seen anyone mention May before he did though. He
did indicate, that like with the additions of ATM and VoIP, they will be
gradual changes. To clarify, he didn't say they would make changes in May,
but that they would review in May.
