I'm almost sure that I'm not alone in this because I've seen so many time
all that we have in common in pursuit of our certification goals. In this
case just wondering how many of you out there have taken flack because you
are certified and because you are going for further certification. In none
of my posts I never list my certs, but for a couple of reasons. One is that
it is no different than any of those you all have. Two, who cares. Three,
it seems like it's just pride. But what I don't like that I have gotten
plenty from co-workers is jealousy, envy and putdowns because of my certs.
Just as on this list, I don't flaunt it, but it becomes known, and then
becomes your enemy. I got my certs and am going for others because it gives
me a way to focus on learning. Yes I have hopes for a better paycheck too
but I really don't like the way these things cause others to despise you.
Just curious and venting a little here.
