Tim,
Do a sh term to check your settings...should be "transport input all"
Do a sh ver..............I'm running 9.21
On your Hyperterm settings, it should be 9600, 8, none, 1, hardware flow
control.
Also try this config:
line con 0
exec-timeout 120 0
line 1 16
exec-timeout 120 0
line vty 0 4
exec-timeout 120 0
password xxxx
no login

in a Hyperterminal window..........sometimes up to 10-15 minutes........be
