Brian,

        Yes, it's tied to the serial number. But the 56 bit key is free
from Cisco.

Hi All,

I have a quick question.. can anyone confirm if the pix activation key is
tied to the serial # of the pix. I was wondering if you could use the
activation key from one pix and use it on another physical pix?
