Hi all,
Is there any way to change the cost of some networks (if you want recognized
through an access-list) while being advertised by ospf. For example: I have
a router R1 with routes in the ospf database to 1.0.0.0/8 and 2.0.0.0/8 and
cost 50 of both routes. R1 has an ospf internal neighbor R2 with a link cost
of 10. R2 will see both networks with next-hop R1 and a cost to destination
of 60 (both of them) because link cost is 10. But I want route to 2.0.0.0/8
look farther than 1.0.0.0/8 so I want that route to have a cost of 70 in R2
while keeping the same cost of both routes on R1. Can that be done?
I think it cannot be done with distribute-lists. Could be with route-maps
but I don't know how to apply them to routing advertisements. Does somebody?
TIA
