If memory serves me, in order to use direct encapsulation with pass-thru you
have to have token ring interfaces on both sides of the frame relay link.

I have two conflicting doc. from cisco,
One says to configure DLSW direct encapsulation using
frame-relay with the end to end ack., i need to map
"frame-relay map dlsw", The other doc. says map llc2,
I remember correctly doing frame-relay map llc2 for
local ack. and I know for sure that we use frame-relay
map dlsw for the end to end ack. Can someone confirm
that for me?
Also i am trying to simulate direct encap for DLSW
with end to end ack. I used frame map dlsw for the
same and my peer does not come up. Has some one done
this before, Can some one pls. point me in the right
direction pls.
