For this you need a rj11 to bt600 adapter with the ring capacitor installed,
i.e. a master socket. I have sourced these from Tandy but Maplin should have
something similar. The alternative is to buy a standard master socket
faceplate and make up an rj11 cable and terminate it to the master socket.

Subject: FXS port and Mod Tap

Hi,

Anyone using a FXS port in the UK with a Mod Tap ? According to the
archives you need to connect to the FXS via one of these devices. However
the FXS has a RJ11 connector, the Mod Tap is RJ45. I have been to 3
different electrical suppliers (RS Components etc.) and none of them have a
converter. How are you expected to get this working ? Make a cable up ?

regards,

Ross.
