But I'll have to disagree. One thing that bothers me about this whole
thing is that everyone stresses practice labs and practice racks....but no
one mentions having some experience.
One of the things that I LOVED about ECP was that it was not there to
*TEACH* you the technology. Just to show you the pitfalls and common
mistakes. *IF* you were not prepared for the lab, going to ECP would have
been a complete waste of time. For that purpose alone, mine was scheduled
3.5 weeks before the actual lab. Therefore, 5 days is plenty of time.
Certainly, there were people who were just starting their studies and came
to ECP. It was completely obvious that the course was WAY WAY over their
heads and was pretty much a complete waste of time.
By definition, I'm not sure there should be a "spoon-fed" courses for CCIE
labs.
But that's just one man's opinion...
