Hmmmm...

        If it can boot and shows the boot message properly then the baud
rate and other telnet factors must be set about right.

        If your scroll lock key is on, then your terminal session may not
allow you to type things in. Turning scroll lock off, if that is the
problem, should return control of your router to you.

        This may not be the problem in your case, but I've seen it happen
in classes before. Makes for interesting troubleshooting.

        It also could be that your router has entered the Twilight Zone :)
