Are you getting problems (eg. "!!...!!") while transfering the image??
Try using "ftp" instead of tftp to download the image. Check the CCO for
the commands to allow that.
(or simply get a tftp trasnfer without any errors, remember tftp is udp).

Hope this helps,
Ernesto.

Subject: IOS 12.1 won't fit into 2500 flash

All,
I keep trying to download IOS 12.1.6 to a 2500's flash via tftp. It has
16F/16D (sh version states "16384K.....of flash). When it finishes and I
do a
"show flash", the correct file shows up but with "invalid checksum".
Below is
the output from "sh flash":

System flash directory:
File Length Name/status
  1 15262708 c2500-js56i-l.121-6.bin [invalid checksum]
[15262772 bytes used, 1514444 available, 16777216 total]
16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

I'm not sure what to make of it. The amount used is less than 16Mb but
the
total is more. I've searched CCO and can't find anything. If anyone has
an
explanation, please help. Thanks
