Hi,
How to change the next hop in the following scenario,
R1-----R2----------R3
R1connected to R2, R2 is connected to R3, R3 has ip connectivity to R1 not
thru R2.
R3 advertises some routes to R2 and R1 from another AS, with next hop self.
R2 has no problem to go to next hop R1.
R1 sees the next hop of R3, As R1 can not reach R3 via R2, it takes a longer
route to reach R3.
I would like R1 to see the next hop R2 to go to the networks advertised by R3.
Is it possible to change the next hop???
I think confederation could be a possibility? is there any other way ????????
