I think this is what standard Windows to Windows communication shows up as.
Think of it as the NCP that IPX uses. It's a workhorse protocol...

Subject: NetBIOS_SSN_T
I have a sniffer trace with a lot of NetBIOS_SSN_T data. From my reading
this is NetBIOS Session Services. I'm having difficulty in understanding
what this is and haven't been able to locate an answer. Can someone point
me to a good source or explain it. Is it related to DSLW or Tivoli backup?
Thanks.
